AAAHHH PLEASE FIX

I love this app cant live without it I have VERY expensive headphones and this is the only EQ app that gives me the bass Im looking for but since the 7 update it crashes as soon as I open it PLEASE FIX IT FAST I NEED IT

Decent

Spectrum release time to high. Resolution does not seem as high as shown. Recommend line graph rather than bar for future updates. This app almost super good.

Ripped off

Crashes every 5 seconds. Total, and I mean total rip off. Please avoid this app.

Perfect!

Thank you for a reliable app to do the job. Ill be sure to recommend it! It had more than I expected and its just rad. Dont change a thing!

Wow!

I wasnt happy with it at first, but it a really cool app! If you find the sweet spot it brings your music to life! You can boost the bass but still have nice mids and highs! The appearance could be better though.

Update not good

Since update, i cant find presets anymore. I used this app a lot before, now it is complicated and frustrating...

Best Equalizer app available

Love this app, had it for ages and use everyday. Beautiful design, easy controls, save presets, sounds soooo much better than regular player. Kudos to the EQu team! :)

Thanks for fixing those nasty bugs.

Finally a release that fixes everything. Thanks for looking at my email and previous reviews!

Amazing

Really helps to boost up the bass! Can not use regular music app anymore!

A must have app for music lovers

This is a must have app for music loving people. It is a much better EQ if you compare it with Apples preset options. I own high quality headphones and i always thought my music was a bit flat. Not anymore, i can now personnalize my sound, and i can do it easily and save my settings to have some for all my music styles. It is a huge improvement in sound quality. I dont know about you, but i like many types of songs. Why a 4 stars instead of 5 then you would ask? For three main reasons. One "would be nice to have", one "kinda anoying", and one "i cant believe its not in there". Ill let you choose which one goes where. You can not attach an EQ line to a specific song for it to load automaticaly when that song plays. On a 3Gs phone, it has problems playing in background, meaning that you can not do something else while listening to music. You can not fast forward through a song, if you want to listen to a specific part lets say at the end, you have to listen to the whole song to get there, and forget about rewinding it 20 seconds to listen to that part again. All in all guys, its worth the investment! EDIT : They finaly added the option of scroling through a song, and they made the app more stable with 3gs phones, good job! Im changing my vote to 5 stars :) EDIT 2 : Version 2.2.4, lost a star. There is an option to turn off "Auto Play" on launch. It sometimes work, but way too often, it plays music anyway when I launch the App, headphones or not. Very annoying if you are at work. And thats if the option is at "Off". But sometimes, it resets and goes back to "On" by itself, and unless you go back in the settings, it will always play on lunch. Is it worth considering another app? You decide..

Better than the stock App

I have replaced the stock app with this one a while ago and thought I would write a review. I am a bass head and this app delivers with great sound and presets. You can also customize your own EQ setting which is great if you want "your" preferable sound and not someone elses. Overall this app is great and should replace your stock music app.

Best EQ in the App Store

This app adds a feature to iOS that has been missing since day one. Create a custom EQ for your headphones, speaker or even car to get that perfect sound youve always wanted

Wow

You will have to listen to your whole music library !! Really really worth it. Perfect.

High quality equalizer

I just bought the bose true sound heaphones and with this app I get the bass which I can never get from stock iOS present equalizer .. Too good app Thank you

Exactly what I want

I use Monster Studio Beats and I was getting popping and crackling when certain decibels were too high - especially with bass. The first thing I thought was that my headphones are damaged goods, but I went into Settings and changed the Sound Headroom to Safe which fixed the problem. Now I can play with the frequency any which way I want with no distortion, and whether my Beats by Dre are messed up is a moot point (maybe I should go reread what these things can actually do). Four out of Five stars, minus one for only two reasons: - You cant edit your playlists, requiring me to still need iTunes and the device default music app. - I just encountered a glitch that crashed the app before it would even open; soft and hard reboot did nothing, I had to delete and reload the app to fix the problem... thus losing all my customizations. - Sept 21/14 -- I have same problem with original EQu (has additional Radio option purchased). I havent tried reloading it though. Does the fact I have iPhone 3GS and IOS 6 mean anything? It was working until Sept 19 update. Used Copy Trans Apps to restore to EQu 2.2.3. All is well Other than this glitch I really love EQu especially with my iPhone Altec speakers. It fixes the treble.

Finest EQ on the iTunes market

I love this app. I absolutely love it. It has virtually everything I want, save a couple of minor features that would be simple luxuries. Another small issue I had with it, was that with the last update, I assume considering Im not the only one with this problem it seems, is that the app would crash before it opened. Ive since re-installed it, and although its a hassle, its dwarfed by the content. This app has X number of EQ presets, and Y number of GUI presets. Everything is customizable, and it works great. Across the hardware spectrum; from garbage earbuds to studio-quality headphones and back again, this app provides that boost in the low end that really gets your head bobbing. I gave it 4/5, because of the bug, and the minor luxuries, including the ability to edit playlists within the app, and perhaps add some new visuals (I realize its an EQ app, not a music visualizer, but you cant go wrong with a scope or Spectrum Analyzer). Overall though, for what this is, its a diamond in the rough, and Im always telling people I know about this app in the hopes theyll buy it too. Thank you, Elephantcandy, for making my life just that much more head-noddable.
