EQu - the quality equalizer App Reviews

I bought a set of beats studio wireless and wanted a good Eq to adjust the sound to my liking. I tried about a dozen EQ apps, some free some I paid for...this is the best one IMO...easy to use, and good adjustment...it made my beats sound perfect and then I tried on my car stereo and it made a huge improvement as well

Really apreciate the sound provided by the app. Unfortunately it looks like an app made with an app builder. Probably using Xamarin or other.

Of the equalizer-type apps that I have tried, this one doesnt stand out in any way. The interface, sound quality and overall presentation are basic and underwhelming.

V2.3.2 works well on my iPhone and iPad Air. Gives great sound quality for this level app. A pro level parametric EQ would be the next step. Only issue I have is on the iPad. Presets cannot be saved. Name box pops up then disappears. Virtual keyboard comes up and locks open. Will not disengage without closing down the app. Does not do this on the iPhone.

I like the app overall, but not having swipe gesture to go back one screen is very annoying. Also, when I open the app it sometimes just starts playing music even though I have turned off the option in settings multiple times to "auto play when app opens." Also, you should be able to return to "all artists" list by tapping the Artist icon at the bottom when you want to change songs, but this isnt possible. You have to press menu on the top right and then the BACK button twice. Also, saving an EQ preset on the iPad frequently gives me a bug where the keyboard or text box to name the preset will disappear and Im unable to name my new EQ preset. This continues to happen even after manually quitting the app. The trick is to have the right orientation of the iPad but it sometimes takes 5-7 tries to get it right. Its not a "bad" app. I use it daily. But it really needs some developer attention/updates to get it to 5 stars.

I bought a relatively inexpensive pair of closed back headphones to listen to music from my iPhone on the train ride to work. Before purchasing EQu they sounded pretty dull without much impact in the bass and treble ranges. This app has totally transformed my music listening experience, the improvement is astounding! I created several profiles for different types of music, and love being able to tweak the settings on the fly. I cant believe I never tried this sooner, it is well worth the $3!

Listening to my music with EQu on iPad Pro is amazing! Works great with my iTunes-purchased songs and can listen in background while in other apps. In addition, I recommend purchasing the radio add-on, giving access to hundreds of radio stations around the world, organized by genre. The equalizer is fantastic; you can tweak each and every song just the way you want to hear it. No other equalizer app comes close to EQu! Just get it!

This app is the best Equalizer and music player app in the store. Better than Denon, canopener and ...

Very good, work as describe, read music directly from librairy. Very nice that we can save our presets and name them. The instant on/off equilizer is a nice touch and work really fast. Maybe for the next update we could get a way to modify the scale, i would like a more precise control between 200hz and 2000hz. Five stars!

I use this app with Bluetooth stereo head set its makes the music sound like it has never before

Wonderful Apps but doesnt work with Sirius XM Radio. Your music need to come from iTunes.

This is the only paid apps that I use a lot. Well, other than garageband. If this app is able to make a playlist, will be much better. But the sound quality? Wow Amazing ! Tried it with any headphones (JVC, SOL, Beats, Sony, etc). Great apps.

Nicely done, awesome sound quality. Nice color choices, if we could have the choice to show only the graph without the play list it would be a 6 stars! Hopefully in the next up-date.

Didnt like it that much, was aiming for that bass with my Monster Inspiration, but it just made it worse, its either low bass or a heavy bass with weird popping sounds damaging it!! Tried DANON Audio and im satisfied so far when using my headset on IPhone, its not the best, but for sure better than this (more bass without that popping sound damaging my headset). Tried a software called HearME on IMac for EQ, and its the best for EQ so far, I hope to find a similar APP for IPhone. Try it to know what I mean.

Intuitive user interface,high quality EQ. Takes your music listening experience to the next level. Magnitudes better than using stock Apple EQ settings.

Must have app if you want to give your own touch to your music, keep up the good work guys.

Excellent app! It works exactly as I was hoping. You can boost or lower any frequency for any condition across the spectrum. Im extremely impressed!

Does not work with RDIO. I wasted $3.

Love this app, love how it improves the sound quality bass and wave. This is what I was looking for, and the fact that you can listen to radio as well. Would be nice if it had a sleep timer and the clock time. Thanks guys.
