You have to play your stuff THROUGH this app. It doesnt function during normal playback.It doesnt work on podcasts and radio apps. Later addition. So Ipurchased the Tunein access feature and now it has dissapeared. The operation is cranky and obscure to me, and I am a real time embedded sw engineer

The finest equalizer app I have used, conclusively. Accentuate the frequencies you need for the speakers you are connected to. Balance the rest to preserve clarity. With skill, this app can make every set of speakers I play through punch above their weight. I have the need to micro-manage my soundscape, and this has been the best solution so far, hands down.

Do NOT buy this app if you stream music through Apple Music! Does NOT work!!

I have no complaints on this app. I love it, equalizing music is great. There is a bug however, that crashes the app when youre in artists, and you hit the back button multiple times. There are instances that the back button is hit, and nothing happens, crashing soon after. If this can be fixed, a lot of us would love the app even more. Thanks

After recent app update my music was removed from iPhone and now I cant download from iCloud. Please fix.

This is the best equalizer I have found for an iPhone (and iOS, if I can go so far), it is as it says: best $3 youll spend!

I have a $300 pair of Bose QC 20i earbuds but the sound is "fixed" coming from my iPhone and to my taste the vocals on most albums are on the "thin" side. For just $3 this app allows me to perfectly equalize the tonal range to suit my taste. When used judiciously the modifications across the range can significantly enhance your listening enjoyment. Im in no way an audiophile but even I can appreciate the flexibility this app provides. Its easy to use and personalize and you can access your music library direct from the app. In addition, if you occasionally use Tunein Radio, for an extra $2 you can call up your favorite stations within the app and apply the same equalizer controls. Just $3...really?

Best app play music

This is by far the best EQ app there is and the whole thing is customizable so dont hesitate. The only feature I really wish it had is a seek or scan button. If you want to forward or reverse music to your favorite spot you have to use the really small "progress" bar which is hard to manipulate when its that itty bitty. That being my only gripe, its not a complaint but maybe a suggestion for future updates. But as I said, there is no other EQ app in the App Store that does what this one does so spend the cash!!!! Its well worth it.

The older versions used to accommodate for setting up playlists. I would have rated this five stars, however the customer service response on their website wont allow me to submit this issue. The EQ is awesome though, but I need my playlists.

This immediately fixed my bass rattle in my Skullcandys and increased sound quality; but sometimes the music cuts or breaks, like it has to much do to (it could just be my old iPhone though). The preset equalizer settings need quite a bit of tweaking but that why you can adjust it, right? I like the feature that you can change the background, because whats worse then waking up your phone to super bright white light.

equailzer and sound are very good enough, but this app is not updated for several months and the interface is very bad.

Would really like to be able to use this app for Pandora One.

Does NOT work with iTunes Match USELESS... But this is Apples issue...Come on Apple... Give the developers the low level access required for these types of Apps to fully function...Apple PUSHES iTunes Match then does not allow developers access... Shame on you Apple... Would most likely give 5 stars otherwise... Not the developers fault.

Hands down without a doubt the best EQ app. Ok, perhaps the only one Ive used. But no need to use any of the competitors because you can significantly improve the audio experience with EQu. My custom preset which Ive named "icky" looks like this 〽️ 〰

I am extremely happy with the versatility of this EQ app, it allows nearly unlimited adjustments so that mp3s sound great on my iPhone. It also allows saving of my various presets. Awesome!

Love this app I use it everyday for my audio system and I think it would be nice if you guys added a bar where you could slow down music speed like the app called EqiT that was going to be released but never did. Its just like this eq app but has the audio speed changer. you guys could search eqiT on YouTube. That update would make my life complete :)

For a listener with multiple iTunes playlists, this app is poorly designed. I cannot import my iTunes playlists to this app, which makes it totally useless. Maybe the equalizer works great. Ill never know because this app will deleted immediately after this review. If I had a library of 30-50 songs, this could be my music player. maybe Internet radio would be OK, but that USA small part of my listening time on my iPhone. And, can anyone tell me how to access the instructional video in three clicks or less? Poor UI. I was able to create some pretty background colors. That sure was a lot of fun! Some people might like this app, but I will not create a new playlist every time I pop in some headphones. Just think about this limitation before tapping the buy button.

The people who cant find their playlists havent looked very hard. While you have to create the playlist in iphone music, you can play them in EQu. Playlists are in the same section as artist and song, just slide the bar left or right. If you cant find it, slide all the way to the right and add it under "configure". Some people just like to complain before trying. App has great Eq functionality, some of the artist and album info gets weird carrying over from music. App needs an update.
